May update

Leen all excited as the school is introducing music lessons..she got out her toy keyboard when telling me . She has always loved music.. such an ear for it. I think this is why she is good at languages as she picks up on the sounds of words & sentences. Today I woke to a voicemail from her as today is also swimming at school so she was telling me.  I forwarded her voicemail to her Uncle Dante.. he loves her English chatter and how well she speaks even using grammar so naturally.

Celine her sister is growing quickly and also using languages of Dutch, Arabic & English. 

Leen I encourage to help her and them to take turns at pretending to be teachers. They both love you tube cartoons and Celine is in to peppa pig stories.

I do miss going over to visit them. But thank goodness for the internet link ups.

We take turns playing online basketball hhhh but this is a clever way of practising counting in all the languages.

May saw EID celebrations and the Syrian children all dressed up smart .. yes boyfriends too with posh dicky bow..and slickered hair hhhh looking a very smart young man indeed.

Through the month of May

Bumper Twinkle Angel top knit

enjoying this pattern and using fun yarns with sparkly twinkle to appeal to the girls. But I have lengthened the lace feature at the bottom as so smart. I just need ribbon for ties to complete. Then they will be sent for girls and their friends. This Angel top is handy extra over T shirt & jeans or even over a dress for different look.
 

Love garden share

We have almost daily face time calls. The girls help me alot as over the last months been in pain with sciatica. They check I am OK.. I get calls now from both Leen & Celine. Celine's English speaking is coming along but she is not as fluent as Leen is yet. She does sing Dutch nursery songs to me so that helps me to learn. Lol

 

Update

 I got some of Bushra's artwork framed to send to her sister Asma in Germany ..it arrived safely. Love the frame from Raz in Uxbridge..always a good eye for a match up.   I also managed to get some bargain clothes for the children both in Belgium & Germany from Debanhams closing down sale in Uxbridge. 

Some for Adam too. 

Plus knit a jumper for Adam too. All parcels arrived safely.

Colours in music & the day..

Today 💙💚💛🧡💜💙💚💛🧡💜 quite by chance today been sharing Here Comes Frankie story with Leen ...how some see colours through music... it happens today is Holi the festival of colours.. A time for fun with colours to celebrate springtime.... so apt today sharing Frankie's fun with music & colours.. Leen had a good laugh at how his trumpet playing made his parents dance even the cat & dog dance ..then the whole street dance .... 🎶🎺💃🕺🎶🎺🎶💜🧡💛💚💙

Princess Leen & Princess Celine "helping" mama with artwork...hhhh just lovely messenger call sharing the fun....good empowerment for international women's day.

Plus last week some of birthday presents for Celine's birthday....well all got in twos for them both. Love the crocodile keyboard ....and there was a Unicorn one too! The personalised doll arrived from Jojo Maman Bebe ..after customs paid ...😱 arrrrh brexit!! My fuzzy felts arrived via post no customs. But the birthday card missing hhhh unicorn magic of airmail..
