This project of Family Link up and counselling online as taken me on a journey of understanding. I have been involved with the APPG on Syria that the late Jo Cox MP started. We have shared reports on the horrors in Syria and the plight and flight of the refugees. There is no doubt they are all traumatised with all they have experienced. I also see layer upon layer of grief as they have lost loved ones, lost their homes. lost their dreams and hopes for the future.
So there is a lot to do to heal and rebuild lives with this give some hope that a future can be reached for with chance to dream and reach for dreams.
