Parcels off to Turkey & another ready for Belgium

I finished the Unicorn cardigan for Princess Leen last night - in fact was up late stitching the unicorn on that I got from Uxbridge and the really brilliant buttons I got for the theme from Liberty London Pleased with the effect now.  So got this to send with the other cardigan.  Lulu Blanche has been "helping" me to measure the knitting.. she was in a playful mood. The children in both Belgium and Turkey love my pet cats and enjoy seeing them on skype.

I am grateful to a friend giving me a donation to get the postage sorted for both Turkey and Belgium. Plus I was able to get a some goodies ordered and sent direct to Boshra in Belgium from Bettys a good order of some cakes, biscuits and chocolates as treats.. and also something nice to offer any friends that Boshra may have calling round for tea and talk. 

These are the baby clothes and blanket on the way to Turkey. The UNHCR as been tweeting the importance to now prepare for the coming winter months... I hope with more donations I can get more warm clothes sent out.

Can you help me raise funds for the trip over to Belgium and to get provisions for them, more art materials for Boshra so she can market her work and educational books and toys for the girls... Leen needs school clothes. Boshra needs some furniture particularly beds as they are sleeping on the floor at the moment. There is a reasonable furniture store near where they are housed. So we can give the local trader some business if there is the funds to purchase. We need to get some baking things for the new home kitchen and do some baking together :-) Stock the freezer up for the coming months. Can we do this together dear helpers? let me know of ideas such as coffee mornings and sponsored runs or cycles... anything that can help this project
