Mother's Day Update

Ohhhhh so ready to see the birthday girl ... who is looking plum tuckered out with playing bless her...see photo below :-) ...... but we have to get a big party together yet... a catch up on Christmas, Princess Leen's 3rd birthday and this cute Princess Celine's first birthday...and Mother's Day for Boshra Hope you can help me get some funds together for the trip over the sea to Belgium and to do some shopping which will include getting some art materials for Boshra too so she can re connect with her artistic side........ we will get clothes, educational toys, books, baking things for the kitchen as so so good they have a kitchen at last after the camps..... Family Link Up is my life and have so much to do with all the refugee families..... in Turkey, Belgium and Germany..... I feel on hold at the moment with no funding... Any ideas on fundraising let me know as I could do with a team of good solid supporters...... all is evidenced and reported for you to see I am a hand to hand link up......and I need more hands to link up too...thanks... 

I did get a small amount of funds at the weekend and was able to get some bargain buys in the local Mothercare.

They had some puzzles at half price too. Because look Leen is very keen on her learning and reading in all languages... so I have got a pack of put together the work people so she can learn the names of workers and professions. I learn too... so put together some slides with the names in English, Arabic, French. Dutch & German. This is good as she is exposed to all these languages.  I will get the same for the families in Turkey and put the Turkish words in too. We do have some teachers among the womenfolk in Turkey and they would be able to come up with lots of ideas.. Everyone needs Ipads or lap tops so we can work together on ideas and produce some good educational material as the children and the refugee are indeed exposed to lots of languages. 

I got a little cardigan and top for Celine and parcel in the post today. But was so frustrating as so many good bargains and new season garments.... and do not forget have to collect the hand knitted cardigans from Carole in Uxbridge too... So so wish I could get some good funds constantly flowing in and a grant to do all we do together. Between us all we will give value for money donated as we are all driven to rebuild lives again.
