Family Link Up celebrates World Book Day....
Books have always been keenly read and played with by Princess Leen.... She loves the interactive books and the peekaboo one I took to her when she was in Eleonas Camp always had her giggling. The book designed for curious little fingers lifting the flap to find the hiding characters..... and then now we have some bilingual books in Arabic and English to help keep her multilingual skills building..... I always chose books that have clear pictures to tell a story so that Boshra can use them in any target language.... Boshra, Leens mother speaks French as well as her mother tongue of Arabic and through our friendship and skype she is building on her English too........ Leen is waiting for a placement in a local Dutch speaking school in Belgium now... So will need some books in Dutch too....And of course she has had a poem published about her too for the Hillingdon Literary Festival at Brunel University.
