July Ballet in Eton

JULY 2023 I had the privilege to be with my Ukrainian family that I am friends with. It was the most moving experience to see their daughter dance in the ballet production of Alice in Wonderland at Eton College. She was the most prettiest butterfly in a Primrose colour costume. What was so awesome is that we were able to skype her grandfather back in Ukraine defending his country. So there we were sat in the auditorium connecting with Ukraine. Gives me goosepimples to recall this moment. Something very special has been happening with this family safe here in the UK not only their daughter dances in Eton but their son has sung in the choir at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. The opportunity fantastic and safe with us all caring for them. Here is a selection of photos of the day at Eton.
The ballet production was very well choregraphed with all ages from the school. It was a very clever way that they put together the twirling dizzy twist and turn of Alice falling down the rabbit hole. So cute the young baby ballerinas as baby bunny rabbits complete with twerking their bunny tails lol ohhhh bless them. There were some in the older school that were clearly showing their talent and destined for a career on the stage. The Queen of Hearts performer and huge success. The mad hatter performed by a dancer with an Indian classical dance background was brilliant at her skill of facial expressions and movement.
I got to meet the founder of the School and we all send her love and healing prayers as she is on a journey with battling cancer. So the day had an collection for the MacMillan Cancer Support She can be proud of her opening the doors to creative dance and talent among her students.
