Lost & Found Word Fun

i have sent the Lost & Found book to Leen in Belgium for her to word share with me. Learn to read both English & Dutch in this dual language book. She received it and is looking foward to show her teacher. We are having fun finding words.

Princess Tops

 

The girls got their Princess tops that I had knit. The post needs custom forms now with Brexit and gets delayed in Brussels custom dept.  But finally they arrived and they wore them for school. Leen said her classmates & teacher liked them.  I will knit more in fun yarns as they are handy to slip on over a long sleeve T shirt. 

Learn share fun continues

hhhhhh this was so much fun on Friday the school had been teaching about frogs and in fun way about metamorphosis... the kids in all the class came home with green faces...and frog masks... it must have been hilarious parents picking them up.  I got a Skype call with Leen saying I am green because I am a frog.... they used party blowers for the tongue to show how frog can catch flies. 

Thank you internet that I can share fun moments with them while we are in lockdown unable to travel.  We do quite a bit of learning together. Leen loves this dual language book Lost & Found in English & Dutch ....Mr & Mrs Frog manage a lost property shop and speak English ..they get a mouse calling in has he has lost his hat but speaks Dutch... Mr & Mrs Frog try to work out what he is saying! Lol..... Leen & me are working on word recognition to get her reading. Its fun...

Hot off the knitting needles

This cardigan I will send to Asma in Germany for Leanne ...ready to grow into..I am starting more lockdown knitting with some wool our Debbie brought me.. also nip over to my Marjorie's Yard to see how your shopping can help me with Family Link Up.

Today I went to the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition online portal to submit one peice of Bushra's art...But applications are not being accepted till 21st February and of course all is dependent on pandemic situation..

So much fun this evening when Leen & Celine back from school in Belgium...me here in west London.. lol hhh Leen turning into some zoom Joe Wickes getting me to exercise my legs.. So needed with this sciatica..  Me with my walking stick like some geriatric cabaret act... hhhh Did me good.  Celine was the screen capture photographer.....but she had me in belly laughs when she joined in with Leens neck exercise fitness stretching neck to right to left & rotation...She was so cute serious concentration face with her teddy ears headband on ....this evening good how Celine little sister joined in.... shukran Allah for Family Link Up.
