Active Monday

Yesterday was in Uxbridge and it was my Pension pay day so was able to get some Debenhams Sale bargains with their discount on products day. Got two lovely Christmas outfits for Leen & Celine and a dungaree suit for baby Adam in Germany. Was discussing with Boshra as I am visiting next week did she want me to bring Adams gift over so we could put a joint parcel together she was thinking this a good idea! We can get a parcel over to Germany in the post in Oostende next Thursday or Friday. Family Link Up of Sisters and their children.

In the evening Boshra sent a film footage of her artwork she was sat all calm with relaxing music and trying some abstract work. She is loving the metallic acrylics we got with the donations. Then she skyped me little Celine had woke up crying with sore throat... and she could not settle her - we have trick on skype as we use those face recognition fun apps they have.. and this makes her laugh...  Boshra is a busy mother of two girls and adjusting to new life in Oostende speaking Dutch now and tries so hard it is good she has the artwork to help her heal and rebuild her life.  Yesterday in Uxbridge was seeking advice from Bovilles Art Shop on how to get good quality prints to sell to help her.. I am told there is a professional scanner that can reproduce from original and they felt I could find a place in Oostende to do this or a professional photo.. once we have this on memory key they can help with prints and mounts to market.. So I have a plan that New Year New Decade we will have major marketing to rebuild her life and help all her family.

Christmas ballet

Princess Leen is studying ballet and the school are looking at the Nutcracker ballet for Christmas.. with a trip to a production... So I have got these books for us to read up on the story and atune to the musical score... love the one with the press for music for each scene.. My family have as my Christmas present helped with Eurostar bargain visit to Belgium for me to join Leen and the School.. So looking forward to this and the dance of the Sugar Plum fairy.... Wow we are really rebuilding lives... 

I am still needing help with Art Materials appeal alongside me trying to put some of my pension money towards bargains... I have managed to post the easel box to Boshra.... There are more bargains appearing on the Cowling & Wilcox online shop... and she can try different mediums..

Art Materials Appeal Update

Last night while the little Princesses were asleep. Boshra became a magical mother artist. She showed me what she was working on and I was blown away with the study. It will definitely be in the portfolio submission to the Royal Academy of Arts when the January portal opens..I am welling up even thinking of this art as I type as it is a very powerful piece. I am only giving you a tease of peep as I must keep this just for the judges to see but you will feel the power in this study for sure. It is entitled "Beauty Imprisoned" .. Her work touches my heart and soul and there are some words for me to publish alongside this when we can put this out in the public domain. Thank you for your donations to help us get art materials she is coming up with some interesting techniques.  We had a donation from Malcolm last night and he is going to promote her appeal..We also have someone interested in one of her pieces in our appeal display too!

Smart Young Man

Lovely to get a photo from Hamid in Turkey wearing the lovely thick double layered cardigan I sent from our local Hayes Sainsburys.. It looks so smart too and will keep him warm.  I would like to send more funds & resources to the family over in Turkey. It is a very worrying time for them too and for me watching the politics and attending conferences on updates... I have written to the EU and UN to be sure that we can continue to keep families safe in host countries. I am grateful to the help Turkey has given refugees since the beginning of the Syrian war. I have when ever possible travelled there and ensured that trade is given to the locals in my efforts to help support the refugees. I respect the locals for their care and support and indeed value their trade in quality made goods. My family members have so many skills and knowledge to give to the economy too and want to rebuild their lives with financial dignity. We must come together to help one another and care for one another then hopefully there will be no more wars and pain and separations in the world.
