Art Update

Realised we are getting to the end of the month and I have not updated you.  I have been busy with a course on languages plus studying & attending meetings. But resting too as I am preparing to visit Boshra and the girls next month, March.  We have Celine's 3rd birthday, my birthday some ???? old go on will tell you 66.. and of course we have the date for the feedback from the Royal Academy to see if Boshra got through to the second round of judging.  She has been showing me some interesting work over the last few weeks..This evening she has sent me these photos of what is happening now... I thought with the paints out  all over the floor that the girls must be asleep. Leen is but Celine is not lol and is creating her own style as she gets the artist mood too... Bless her those colour dots you see below are now all over the paper in a mix of the colours from an action video just sent :-) 

I will be taking 2 bags of Acrylics on my journey in March from Bovilles closing down sale too. But our fund raising will be ongoing till we can turn this art into a commercial venture that will build Boshra's life as a recognised artist.  We need to develop many ranges of products from her art to help her.  Her social worker is impressed with her work when she visited her apartment and saw all her canvases and the art college too like her work.

Today has been an interesting day as on my way home from visiting my eldest daughter Debbie I took a different bus route home. I met a Syrian lady she had been concern over me as I was in obvious pain with my arthritic knees so that got us talking.. her in little English with her children translating.  She is one of the UK quota of refugees that have been settled here.  Turns out she is close by to me.. So told her about my Family Link Up and invited her to visit me anytime and then we can skype to Boshra for them to make friends and chat in Arabic together. I hugged this lady as from my Family Link up I know how much her and her family have been through. Those words LINK UP are powerful..
