Art Update & Travel Update

I was to have travelled to Belgium today but in view of the Corona Virus WHO defined pandemic & some countries in lock down I decided it was best not to travel. Not for fear of my health but I was worried that given I would be travelling in total on 4 trains  that I could pick up the virus and transmit it to the family.  
So I am heavyhearted and frustrated that I cannot go and have time with them. We are intensifying our skype calls and sharing on messenger too.  Leen last night was proudly showing me her hands and saying how she was listening to the teachers and washing them to stop the virus spread. I have sent some funds too for Boshra to stock up on necessary supplies in case of lockdown there..

I had arranged the visit for a sharing of birthdays mine and little Celine and to be able to help Boshra with some art marketing and if successful in the first round of art judging for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition bring back the canvasses for the second round.  But today we got feedback both in our account with the RA and emails that the work we submitted has not been selected for the second round.  The emails stated after careful consideration they were not selected.  So we feel a little deflated but not depressed as we will simply try again next year when the portal opens again.  From the way 2020 is panning out for us all around the globe maybe this year was not going to be so highly successful with the summer exhibition... so we now focus on 2021..

Boshra is developing an interesting style which the Kunst Academie and her Social worker are loving so there will be chance to find galleries and exhibit locally.  We will be producing some exclusive prints to market plus cards and other merchandise.... Actually we had a lot to do over the days trip that I have now had to cancel.... 
I have now posted the bargain acrylics and other goodies to her that was to have gone with me today if I could have travelled.
