Been another busy learn share week with not only activities from me but from the docent teacher in Oostende and a municipal pack too. Oostende well organised getting resources out to the children to ensure education input maintained during the lockdown. Love the resources too as you much learning can be generated from the fun activities. Sure has kept Leen & Celine engrossed and full of excitement to show me. Look below love the finger pictures for painting nails as again reinforces my trick to open up Leens mind to 5 fingers each hand and 5x tables.
Leen has been learning to write her meemie jeemies... Arabic letters so proud of her with all her language acquirement and foundation building to learn more. She has the Dutch and English writing to develop too so you will see how when you scroll down how I have got a wipe clean workbook to practice alphabet and some words in English. Not confusing but with fun can be learnt simultaneously...... making it fun is key to the success and so her logic mind can pick up on patterns and form. I have been sharing maths activity book pages but with a plan to post them on over the next week for Boshra to work with the girls on maths fun... I can do quite a bit over skype but I so miss being with the girls to have fun time learning and sharing. It is good when Boshra teams up with me and we can share in Arabic Dutch and English.
Another parcel arrived yesterday so there will me more on this in my next post, there is another jigsaw puzzle for them to do and I have shown my attempt as a reference point.
Amy one of the neighbours from the next street that checks on me that I am OK in the lockdown has crochet rainbows and these are now with Leen and Celine in the parcel received yesterday.
I have been linking up with the families in Turkey and Germany. Below is a fast growing Mohammed on the roof top where the family were having a barbecue in readiness for breaking the days fast. Adam in Germany had his 1st birthday party. If you remember he was born just a few days before Archie, Prince Harry & Meghan's baby.
I have been sorting out my garden and sharing photos with the family to help us feel connected and sharing one anothers lives.

Below the wipe clean keep practising books for hand writing and maths these will be for the next parcel I compile.
So pleased my Jasmine plant is bursting in flower. Jasmine is the national flower of Syria and well loved by Syrians for the wonderful aroma. There are several species but this is from last years Mother Day present my daughters bought me and it has flourished and adorns my front doorway.

Ohhh had my first experience of joining a google meet class with the Celine's teacher in Belgium...This weeks theme is Farms..I loved the idea she had of a fun cartoon picture of a farmer on a milking stool milking a cow....The picture was hidden behind 6 coloured doors left-right-top- middle-bottom ..So the children ...remember from home in google meet had to choose a coloured door so together the picture revealed..Then my connection dropped..I think I messed up trying to screen captured this magic set of doors...Anyway I have emailed photos to the teacher of our busy bees yesterday following activities to make a cow..... Celine is 3yrs and love her concentration to complete the project...
