oh a whole heap of fun going on in Belgium..they got fair and a rock n roll fest going on for the kids ....and Grans if only I could go ...to enjoy.... as I was born in the Rock n Roll era I can teach them the moves hhhhh  thank goodnes we can video share its uplifted my spirits today 

 

Not Selected but still liked

 

I had submitted this artwork to the Royal Academy of Arts for the late summer exhibition,  but when I checked our account Bushra's work has not been selected. It would have be a boost to have had it selected. This study is called Tribal you can see more of her work  Bushra's Art Gallery page  We will keep trying. Bushra enjoys her art it helps her heal and still is a potential for earning to rebuild her life. I put the work on Grayson's art club Facebook page and it has generated some likes and comments. I still would like help to get her more art materials.. the fund raising page is still active if you can help Art Materials thank you.

Sleeping Bee share

 

I spotted this bee asleep in my tiger lily flower. So rang Leen to see too.. she was fascinated by a bee asleep resting from its hardwork.  She could see it moving its legs to snuggle more comfy in the petals. There was a gentle breeze in the garden rocking the flower. So cute.. little did the sleeping bee here in my Hayes garden know it was being watched from Belgium. Lol 

I was also glad to she the family OK. I spoke with Bushra about the European floods. Oostende was OK but her friends in Liege struggling as there been badly affected. Thoughts & prayers with all affected in Germany Belgium Holland and here in London. Climate change crisis is getting scary.

Leen loved playing football with the boys in the Eleonas camp hhhhh fearless toddler then like a mini Messi .. it was a case of ..spying a ball ..yea off we go kicking it around..even if she fell was up and chasing the ball again.

Best wishes to Italy too!  between you both make it an exciting game. Both done well to get to the final ..so lets have a champion win. We need some fun & excitement..I am sure I will be the sofa coach again shouting at the telly... hhhhhh

The post was quick this week only posted the knitting and some books on Tuesday and arrived yesterday Friday.. no hold up in Brussels this time. The lemon balero fits Leen just needs roll collar to smooth down by Leen or mama.. the red one I sent fits Celine but she was asleep to model it for me lol batteries run out from busy day of play.  I will knit more for the others in the community now I have idea of how looks. We had fits of giggles yesterday playing guess the animal from descriptions in English and some Dutch.  I have craftily in that play prepared words to recognise to help her reading in both languages.. Learning needs to be fun  Op ontdekkingsreis = on a journey of discovery. 

Lulu being teachers "assistant" lol always investigating what I am doing.

She said, "I haven't got this quite right its meant to be a Dolphin." Her sentence construction comes so natural without formal teaching. She picks up a lot from YouTube and our sharing... impressive! 

Thanks to Teachers

Yesterday was a big thank you day to the teachers as schools wind down for the summer break. I must say that the schools in Belgium have coped well over this year. Leen gave her teacher one of Bushra's recent artworks. Specially for the teacher all beautifully wrapped. I hope the teacher spreads the word about how talented Bushra is.  See her talent on Bushra's Art Gallery Had lovely messenger call this morning with the girls and now school finished planning some fun learn games..Wish I could visit. I emailed Eurostar for advice on procedures but they responded the cannot guide me as the government guidelines and rules constantly changing..! So I miss resign to the fact it may not be until later in the year to go. I need to find funds in the interim to go! Frustrating for me and for the family as they would like me to visit.
