Update on our renal patient in Turkey she is doing good. Been skype Sr Marjorie checking her ... there was some fun over finding a stray ECG electrode and Dante not sure what it was and whether to remove it..... so we did an over skype "ecg electrodectomy" together lol hhhh But was touching as the family have so much trust and respect for my years as a nurse and midwife. Feels good and I have so much respect for all their skills, knowledge and all that they have been through. Family Link Up is my life for sure. We are still waiting for a parcel I sent to Turkey to arrive been so slow this time... I have a parcel tracker and can see it is in a backlog in Istanbul near the Airport.... So hope it is freed up soon as every parcel contains my heartfelt love for the family. I was thinking maybe I am better to get a larger box of goodies together and send by courier such as DHL... But I hope I can visit too this year I keep hoping.

I am planning to visit the family members in Belgium for my birthday to link up Leens school with the local one here. Leen is doing well with her Dutch learning and so is Boshra... All are trying hard to keep all the languages rich and bountiful for any future work opportunities. Boshra is keen to develop her art skills and has a huge pull towards glass painting and artwork.
We need funds for educational materials for both the children in Belgium and in Turkey. We need more art materials for Boshra in Belgium. She still needs beds for the girls in the apartment too. Funds to purchase from local traders in the host countries is so important - to respect their livelihoods. But I also need funds to send parcels to them all.
