Some months ago I submitted an article on the Post Traumatic Stress that I had been observing in Dante my Syrian Refugee in Turkey. The signs and symptoms very specific to the horrors he had been exposed too. The article I had hoped would be accepted for publication in the RCN Journals and with perhaps a special edition on the whole subject of war injuries physical & Psychological and refugees with all the nursing needs that this entailed. This work as not yet been accepted but I have today decided to send it for the papers call to Refugee Studies Centre Oxford University. I hope it gets peer review to be used in the conference planned for March next year. So prayers thoughts and fingers crossed it will or at least be a platform for more discussion on the subject of the very specialised needs of war victims and refugees.
